Fourteen anglers catch 132 fish during the 2024 Rotary Fishin’ Frenzy

The club’s annual catch/photo/release tournament concluded on Saturday, May 18, after some hard competition and changes on the leaderboard in its final days.

James Cottrell of Charlotte County won first place and longest fish, Bill Perutelli of Buckingham County finished second, and Brandon Cottrell of Farmville finished third.

This year’s tournament was two weeks long and anglers could fish any publicly accessible water statewide. Thanks to the generosity of club sponsors, all of the registration fees will be donated to non-profit organizations in central Virginia.
